At Olifantsrivier APD, skilled workshop members are transforming quality wood into practical products for homes, gardens and outdoor living spaces.  Each item is carefully manufactured and assembled, creating functional products that are built to be used and enjoyed for years to come.

Working primarily on a made-to-order basis, the workshop is able to accommodate a variety of customer requirements, ensuring products are tailored to individual needs while providing valuable skills development and work opportunities for persons with disabilities.

At Olifantsrivier APD, woodworking is about more than crafting quality products. It is about creating opportunities for persons with disabilities to learn new skills, develop confidence and participate in meaningful work.  Through the production of custom-made tables, vegetable racks and plant stands, workshop participants gain practical experience while contributing to products that bring value to customers’ homes and gardens.

Every order placed helps support a programme that promotes skills development, independence, and active community participation.  It’s a reminder that something as simple as a handcrafted table or plant stand can contribute to a much bigger story of opportunity and inclusion.
