A Warm Welcome to Mumtaz Mohamood

We are absolutely thrilled to announce the newest addition to our team, the exceptional Mumtaz Mohamood! 🎉 Mumtaz is joining us as an intern for the next six weeks, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Her role: Mumtaz will be playing a pivotal part in our ‘I WE ALL’ pilot project, focusing on the design and development of participant surveys, assessment, and evaluation tools

Her journey: Mumtaz is with us as part of the University Impact program, which provides undergraduates and graduates with practical learning experiences in impact investing, social entrepreneurship, and philanthropy.

About Mumtaz: A proud Capetonian, Mumtaz recently graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Commerce in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. She’s now continuing her academic journey at Stellenbosch University, where she’s set to pursue a postgraduate Bachelor of Law (LLB).

Her experience: Mumtaz brings a wealth of experience to the table. She’s worked as a notetaker for students with disabilities at UCT’s disability service, tutored economics, and served as an International Correspondent for the Yale Review of International Studies.

Outside of work: When she’s not making waves in her academic and professional life, Mumtaz loves exploring pottery workshops, visiting art galleries, and spending quality time with her furry friend.

Please join us in giving a warm welcome to Mumtaz as she embarks on this enriching journey with the WCAPD. We are so excited to see all the wonderful things she will accomplish!
