Can you believe it? Our vibrant friend just turned 81, and he’s still full of life! Despite the generation gap, Oom Henry and Wynand share an extraordinary bond. Oom Henry, our oldest resident at Robertson House, and Wynand, the youngest, are the best of friends!

For 15 wonderful years, Oom Henry has been a pillar of our community, bringing joy and wisdom to all who know him. Oom Henry and Wynand’s friendship started 10 years ago when Oom Henry extended a warm welcome to Wynand on his first day at Robertson House. Today, these two bond over their shared love for music, especially rock and roll, and enjoy kicking back with a glass of wine.

Here’s to many more years of friendship, laughter, and unforgettable moments at Robertson House! Cheers to Oom Henry on his special day! With love and best wishes from all of us at Western Cape Association of and for Persons with Disabilities.
